Days ago, the appraisal work of "National IP Demo Enterprises and Institutions" was finished. BYD (a famous automobile enterprise) in Shenzhen became one of the of 57 IP demo enterprises.

"BYD always attaches great importance to independent innovation and IP administrative work, and invests lots of energies in IPR research, application and protection", said the related principal of BYD.

According to statistics, from 2002 to 2008, BYD has more than 1,000 patent applications per year, among which, BYD totally applied 1,530 pieces of patents in 2008 and ranked the fourth in the whole country. In automobile filed, BYD launched 360 automobile punch equipments which were researched independently, tested 825 automobile jointing equipments with independent IP, and installed 656 automobile spraying equipments and so on.
