| First Circuit Tribunal of Patent Reexamination Board makes a debut |

| On November 24-25, the First Circuit Tribunal of SIPO Patent Reexamination Board opens a session in Guangzhou. The oral circuit trial this time has played positive roles in accelerating the trials of the cases of patent invalidation declaration and enhancing the influence of the First Circuit Tribunal of SIPO Patent Reexamination Board.
The First Circuit Tribunal hears seven cases of invalidation declaration and uses multi-media recording system for all the trials, greatly facilitating case-involved people in Guangdong Province and achieving sound results in publicity. People involved in cases and auditors say that the system not only reflects all the real activities and the whole process in an all round way, but also increases the transparence of the trials of patent invalidation declaration, ensuring the justice and efficiency in case handling.
The unveiling ceremony of the First Circuit Tribunal of SIPO Patent Reexamination Board is held in Guangzhou on October 29, the first of its kind nationwide. It not only meets the demands of SIPO Patent Reexamination Board of circuit trials in Guangdong, but also supplies technological guidance and assistance to patent law enforcement, judicial trials, enterprises, institutions and right holders in Guangdong.
